How Does it Work?
When
I register my details, how long until it shows up on the "Don't Mail Me"
Register?
After
you register, your contact details will show up on this registry by the
next
day. We will forward your details to the DMA and they will add you to
their
lists and circulate it to all members.
What
if I change my mind? Can I take my details off the "Don't Mail Me"
Register?
You
can delete your details by calling (021) 670 – 7738. Your
details will be
removed from the Effective Intelligence "Don't Mail
Me" Register by the next
day. However we cannot guarantee when other suppliers will remove you
from
their registers.
What
about the Privacy of My Information?
If I choose to register my details, how will my
information be used and disclosed?
We
collect your details so that we can ensure that you are removed from
any of the
promotion lists of Clients dealing with Effective Intelligence. This
information will be forwarded only to the DMA and they will add you to
their
lists and circulate it to all members.
Can
I register all my family and friends?
You
should register only your own details and request your family or
friends to
register themselves.
Can
I register my business phone number or a fax number?
The "Don't
Mail Me" Register is only for personal details.
What
Information is required by the register?
You
need to supply your ID Number, Initials and Surname.
Why
should I give you all my personal information?
Your
ID number is unique to you. To ensure successful removal from our
mailing list
we need to use your ID number, Name and Surname to ensure we remove
the correct person from our register. This is standard practice in South Africa.
NB: Unfortunately
we can not list you on the Register without these minimum details as we
cannot
match you. We
also need to confirm
your surname to the ID number before we add your details to the
register (this
is for security to ensure it is your request).
